Been busy this weekend hanging out with Rowland so didn’t have time to post day five, so here’s five and six.

Day 05- A picture of somewhere you’ve been to

Toronto, Canada. The Sunnyside Chamber Choir and I traveled to Toronto to attend the CMEA Choir Festival. We received Gold Medals and the Outstanding Soloist Award, given to Ashli Hannah. This trip was one filled with memories that I will never forget. There I realized what an amazingly crazy girl Jennifer Soto was. Memories in the castle and touring Canada were astonishingly fun. Will I ever go back? Yes!

Day 06- Favorite super hero and why

My father. Greatest super hero in the world. He’s understanding and loves his family very much. For as long as I can remember he has never said no to anything I decided to join or do for school and or any clubs outside of school. Instead, he would support me in it. At the end of each program or club I decide to join, he and my mother would show up at the awards night with a huge camera to record me on stage. I know parents are suppose to support their kids in whatever they choose do in life but my father supports his kids and does so much more. Out of his own pocket, he’s paid for every expenses I needed and never says no. I love him. The most important man in my life, my greatest super hero, my father, Boua Long Vue. :)

Since I didn’t have time yesterday, I’ll be posting two today.

Day 03- A picture of you and your friends

My high school girlfriends. Though I’ve drifted away because of school and I’ve grown apart from you girls I know that I can still count on you girls for a talk, a Christmas Luncheon, anything I may be in need of and you can count on me for anything. We had fun during high school. The secret santa’s, hang outs, hmong new years, etc. Memories I’ll treasure for a life time. We’ve had our ups and downs, laughs and tears, stories to share for a day or more, these girls means a lot to me and I hope to see all of them during Fresno New Year of 2010-2011. :)

My Davis friends I met when I went away for college. What can I say, they are an amazing group of students. Very kind and caring. I hope to continue getting to know each and everyone of them before we all graduate and go our separate ways in a few years.

Jeniffer Soto and Chia Vang. These two girls brightened up my summer of 2009. We have so much memories that summer, ones I’ll still laugh about thinking back to it. Jennifer’s one my bff. A person I can cry to and laugh with. She knows me so much and I love her for being there for me whenever I needed her most. Chia Vang, I didn’t really get to know til summer of 09 and she is one of the sweetest and most caring girl I’ve ever known. I love her and is so thankful to have both of these girls in my life.

What can I say about this girl? I simply love her! I can’t believe it took me three years to realize how amazing she is. Senior year wouldn’t be as fun with you Jess. She’s by far one of the most amazing girl I know. She’s caring and silly. Smart and vicious when she needs to be. Thanks for always being there for me and I look forward to seeing you later. I miss you!

Day 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have

Straight up, PROCRASTINATION! I know a lot f people have this and wish it gone but hey I’m one of them peeps. I know when to get to work, I just get sidetracked. I’m horrible at saying no to friends and family because I think their feelings will be hurt. But I’m working on knowing how to say no. I still learning, and I will change this habit of mine, and it starts with finishing this post on Tumblr and starting on some hw before my next class. :)

Will…Moon Fest today at Central Park in Davis was a disappointment. I enjoyed the face painting but that was pretty much it. I mean, seeing familiar faces was great but I was expecting more. I thought there were going to be actual moon cakes, more booths, music and lanterns. I was so excited to try moon cakes for the first time. But I guess not. However, to end the night off, went to dinner with THE Quach. Sophia’s Thai was pretty bomb. Wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be. Ordered laap and curry noodles and it was YUMMY! We were gonna walk back with our bikes and left over but ended up biking back with Bill holding the food. And now I’m just up waiting for Alex Chan to get back from Union City.

First day of school tomorrow. I am somewhat excited but sad that summer came to an end. I didn’t get to do much this summer at all. Didn’t go out of town or did anything special, ah poo. Maybe next time, but I’m sure winter break will make up for it. I’m so excited for Hmong New Years. I love wearing Hmong clothes and helping my parents at the new years. I look forward to seeing my girls from the 559. Secret Santa and Christmas luncheon was turned into a yearly thing, so I look forward to that very much.

Since that’s a few months ahead, I can’t wait to see my white girl! I love her! Jessica Rowland! She’s coming this weekend and we are going to have so much fun. I miss being around her. I miss her trying to speak Hmong. I miss how I am around her. I miss her mucho! Very excited for this weekend!
